My quest has made the headlines, my ticket to Tales of the Cocktail in Edinburgh paid off with more than just a Red Rum. I was super excited when Wendy Rose Gould contacted me for an interview, with some great questions, some of which unfortunately didn’t make it into the article. I had the honour of being front page news for a while though and as remarked by one of my favourite London bartenders, “If I was on the front page of Tales I would think I’ve made it!”. I’m not quite there yet though,currently busy writing and researching an updated version of the 80 bars book, I won’t be satisfied until my name is in print on a spine.
